Fold Pepper Mill
Fold is a sculptural yet functional pepper mill designed for both home and restaurant use. This project emphasized the manufacturability and assembly of the design, focusing on how it can be easily put together.

DESIGN FOR ASSEMBLY
Each housing component was precisely machined to fit the grinder mechanism. Key features of the parts include:

FUNCTION
The mechanism includes a knob to adjust the pepper grind size and a top component that easily slides off for refilling peppercorns.
CAD & 3D PRINTING
Using CAD, I defined tolerances for the lathe and mill and prototyped the assembly process for each component.
